PUCK flash game

Added on by Joshua McVey.

This game was created in 2009 near the end of the web Flash era.  I enjoyed working with actionscript to create a user interface that was easy to use, yet allowed the player to accomplish their goals.  Through it's creation, I learned a lot about design and interactivity.

The game should load to the right, but please remember that Flash games are not playable iOS platforms.

As mobile became more popular, it made less sense for me to pursue Flash as a game platform.  And so this is the only game of its type.

PUCK uses an unconventional aspect ratio, vertical like a banner ad.  I wanted to explore how the format might affect the play of the game.  In the process I found it easier for players to use only a small section to interact with the whole game.

Play the game, and check out the how to section.  I'm sure you'll note that the voice audio work was done by me (even the cheering when you complete a level).

If the game doesn't load, play by clicking here.
